Christmas 2010

I can't believe it's the kids second Christmas. I think the year has gone by so fast. I try to take it all in, but I find myself very busy with very active kids, and fall short sometimes. This Christmas was very different from last. Last year I was able to keep the kids from the tree, since they were not walking yet. I had my hands full this year since they are very mobile. We decided to only decorate the top half of the tree, and not put any of our special breakable ornaments on this year. They did do better than I thought. The tree was never completely turned over, but at times I would hold my breath, because I thought for sure it was coming down.  Although it was rough at times, we made it through the holiday with our sanity and our tree intact. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and has a happy New Year.

I was able to snap a few shots of my curious little kiddos. They just couldn't keep their hands off of the tree.

We had a little dinner for my sisters birthday, and I thought this was a cute picture of the kids and their MiMi. She spoils the rotten.

Here are some photos from the present extravaganza at our house. They loved the kitchen set so much we had trouble getting them interested in opening their other presents.

Here are some photos taken at my parents house. I love the little table they got for them. I adore the picture of Clinton and Tristan at the table. So cute!

Ashley and I wanted to get a picture of the kids. I'm not sure why we thought they would let us, but it did not go well. I just snapped one while they were watching a movie. Maybe someday we will get a good picture of them.

By the end of the night Clinton and I were exhausted, but were able to take all the toys out of their boxes. We could not believe we filled up the huge box their kitchen set came in with trash from all of the toys they were given.
