It's confirmed: We are having a mixed litter

We found out yesterday that we are blessed with a boy and a girl. In our minds it could not be more perfect. At this point the boy is above the girl, which means if nothing changes, our baby daughter will be the oldest. It's been a whirlwind week and we are both so glad we now know what are babies are. The best part is we get to call them by their names, instead of calling them generic terms like, "babies" or "twins". During the ultrasound, the twins were kicking each other constantly, luckily they are foot to foot so they can equally abuse each other. Our baby girl outweighs our son by one ounce, which means they are getting equal nutrition. Heart rates are still strong. Hers is 143 BPM, and his is 133 BPM which is lower than 4 weeks ago but still very good. They are both measuring average size for twins at 19 weeks. I'm sure you are all curious about their names, and here they are. Our sons name has been picked out since we were just married, and he will be called Tristan Noah Truett. As for our daughter, we went back and forth on several combos, but what we decided on makes us both extremely proud. She will be called Reagan Christine Truett. Her first name is after my brother, Mitchell Reagan, and her middle name is after Lisa's Grandmother. We feel she could not bare a stronger name from how we feel about the two very important people she is named after. On a side note, Iam gad I finally gat to make an appearance on our blog. Also I would like to add, we are well aware our son's initials are TNT, and we are fine if you all feel like calling dynomite.
